The Results are in...

Well, not the results so much as the candidates.

I dropped by city hall on the way home and here is what seemed to be the final listing of candidates for the April elections.

Ward 1
Jerry May
Richard Knode

Ward 2
Jeff O'Connell
Kent Hedlund
Nancy Allison
Janet Dietrich

Ward 3
Ken Owensby
Tim Frigillana

Ward 4
Les Dills

I overheard a phone call where Jones was claiming his buddy signed up for the ward 3 race. If so, city hall was mum about it.

Oops. I thought of this last night while working on some school items.

I did forget one candidate in Ward 2 and have updated the list. Actually, silly of me to forget since I was talking to her as she completed the paperwork.

My only excuse is that I was a bit giddy over the news of a certain governor who announced he was NOT running for re-election.

Posted at Suburban Journal Story. They probably won't print the comment, but......

"Goodness Buck. Are you not paying attention or purposely writing these inaccurate stories?

"Much to the delight of business and government leaders, Overland's political past appears to be just that - a period of unrest that residents and outsiders alike have put behind them."

Try this Buck. I hope you see how this is a more accurate statement.

"Much to the delight of Overland businessman, Mitch Wilson, and Overland Mayor Mike Schneider, Overland's political past appears to be just that - a period of unrest that residents and outsiders alike have put behind them."

You really appear silly when writing this stories. At the last Council meeting, Ward 3 Alderman Ken Owensby, attempted to re-introduce City funding trash service which was the issue driving what you refer to as a "period of unrest".

Feel free to be a shill, but try being an accurate shill."

There is an updated list on the City's website and someone else signed up for Ward 3

Thanks for the heads-up on the city's website.

Yeah! I'm glad Owensby is not getting a cake walk. I like to see all candidates with competition. It keeps them on their toes.

Is Tim Frigillana one of the Jones-town boys? Does anybody know anything about him?

Looks like Jeff O'Connell has a lot of competition.

Dill-Less is a lone soldier, no choice for Ward 4 residents.

Then we have Dicky K-mode going to rant color schemes up for dump trucks and he will start resurrecting phony re-call May signs up compliments of the Wanda Beast of burden.

Jeff O'Connell and Jerry May were the only ones to stand up to stand up against Ann Purnzer and the O.R.T.

How disgusting that M.T. Schneider and his political action committee (i.e. COGG) have put up Nancy Allison to run in Ward 2.

As councilman she did absolutely NOTHING and strictly served as a prop a rubber stamp for Dody as his "yes-woman". Nancy is in the same league as Leo Stuckey, Phil Paul, and Jerry Kintzel, Bob Dody, and Frank Munsch she's a has been.

During the mayoral campaign, M.T. Schneider promised to change the practices which have plagued Overland government for years: cronyism and rubber stamp councilman.

We now see the truth. M.T. couldn't be any further up Dody's ass.

Schneider = Dody = Munsch = Good Old Boys = COGG

Birds of a feather flock together...in this case, vultures.

Nancy "Rubber Stamp" Allison shall be her new name.

The Mayor should take more pride in our city and he should hold his employee's accountable.

The city can't even get the right name on its website for the candidate from Ward 3 who is running against Ken.

Hello MIT People
His name isn't Tim.
He's has a friend whose name is Tim who happens to be on the Overland City council now; but his name is NOT Tim.

Just what we need confusing the public with names before a race even begins.

Tim, Ted, what the diff?

You cant really hold the patronage crowd at silly hall accountable for this. I am sure Ted and Tim came in together all giddy to sign up for the big EEEElection. You cant blame these folks who are hardly qualified for their positions they hold to figure out which person in the actual candidate!

From what I hear, I am surprised they didn't post Nancy Dody. Or should it be Bob Allison? Either way, they cant get the names of candidate and the names of their handlers seprate or strait.

Given the Chuck-A-Booner's behavior, I am sure we will soon see another alleged disability come into play to avoid the firing that is most certainly deserved. They won't give me a raise for the 7 jobs I claim to be doing so I will threaten to quit. Meanwhile, I will let them know about my disability so they can't fire me. Right out of the old Karam Abdul Jabaar playbook. A true classic. I am sure we will soon see the cast/walker/eye patch/cane on Chuck-A-Booner.

CIO mentioned on OV chat that COGG is working on getting Owensby out, CIO failed to mention COGG is also working on getting Jeff O’Connell out too. COGG and MT are going to push Rubber Stamp Allison. I would like to see Owensby gone, but is that the thanks Jeff gets for being a stand up guy? Jeff fought hard along with May protecting Overland. Now COGG and MT are going to dump on Jeff O’Connell? COGG better not come a knocking on my door pushing this Rubbery Allison Stamp!!!!!

Nice call Mauler...Spot-Balls-On.....

He may pull a little post traumatic stress disorder for his time under Purzner Administration.

Firing him would free him up for the City Maninistror.

I wonder if Buck Collier will be considered?

Rick - You are write on. COGG is trying to take out Jeff too. How ignorant but its right out of the DOdy,Munsch/Kuhlman playbook. They really don't care about Overland they care about themselves. I mean does anyone realize how in your face it ballsy it is for Dody to accompany Nancy to sign up against Jeff. Nancy is Jeff's neighbor. What a slap in the face. They want the rubberstamp for their boy MT so they can get the power back.
Gravy you were right the ORT was so stupid. It's crystal clear Dody is running the game again and Schneidly has to pay back.

I really think its MT's wife Mrs MT that is running the city what a phony she is.

Gravy everyone needs to face it.

The Suburban Journal writer for Overland is really Bucked up.
