Election in the Air

About twenty years ago, there was a popular song called The Freaks Come Out At Night. A catchy, pre-hip hop kind of tune. I was reminded of that song at last nights council meeting. Nancy Allison attened her first meeting since the residents of Ward 2 had the sense to vote her out some three years ago. In the front row was Dick Knode, rumored candidate for Ward 1. Must be an election in the air for those two to come out. Not to be done by outrageous returns was our favorite felon, Jay Fetsch. Not only was he once again in attendance, but sitting with the mayor's mother! -->> insert statement about politics and strange bed fellows <<--

Absent was Chuck Boone (again). Sorry to hear he is ill, but as smooth as things are happening in public works of late--I would say he isn't the most necessary "COGG" in the Overland wheel. Heck, even Ol' Empty's favorite hoosier--Bill Schwend--was complaining about public works during comments. Perhaps if I were Chuck I would be ill to after hearing that. As far as business, a fairly boring meeting. Then again, I am just a dude who likes to sit in the back and people watch. Gossip Guy
