Thought I would post Schneider's and COGG's 3rd quarter financial reports. The former should give you something to Munsch on until tomorrow's workshop meeting.
Schneider 3Q
COGG 3Q
I would have posted others, but they did not exist/did not need to file.

Thanks for posting this Suzy.
Am I missing something here? In C.O.G.G.'s statement there seems to be a mistake. The filing has two places to list expenditures. One for those over $100.00, the other for those under $100.00.
In C.O.G.G.'s filing the over $100.00 list is empty, and the under $100.00 list has 4 items listed. However, all but one of those items are over $100.00.
Am I not reading this correctly?
$28,000 to become the Mayor of Overland for two and a half years. Money can buy an election for sure.
Sailor,
I noticed that on the COGG report. I also noticed $400 donations that were not listed. If they are for open government, they should open up to where each and every one of their donations came from.
COGG had a super double secret meeting today to discuss their By-Laws. Perhaps they should discuss having someone look over these reports before Jan sends them in--it was a blaring mistake. But easy to fix.
I didn't even catch the unexplained $400.00.
This is disturbing. C.O.G.G. was originally formed as a government watchdog group. The idea was to promote transparency and accountability in Government.
Now the group is silent about contributions that exceed state limits, has some members who publicly cheer when a measure passes that could allow a company to circumvent the conditional use permit application process, and fails to report their own finances correctly and completely.
I'm not sure when it happened, but to someone on the outside looking in it appears that the "Good Government" platform of COGG has been abandoned.
Perhaps members still interested in Good Government can get the organization back on track. It's possible I guess though the organizations actions (and lack of them in some cases) seems to suggest that it has completely derailed and may be beyond recovery.
I like simple explanations so I vote stupid.
Like too stupid to pay personal property taxes. Like too stupid to return illegal campaign contributions. Like too stupid to fill out the disclosure form correctly.
Where is Buck Collier when you need him?
Oh my God, the OverlandChat narrative concerning the pool company is freaking hilarious. Too think Carol and the Dog are hanging out thinking of bullshit stories to smear the Mayor's opposition. I mean that is some funny stuff.
The owner called the Mayor and said, "I'll never work in this town again." Such small potatoes. Scratch for worms you'll get worms.
I am more interested in a zoning policy that attracts residents who own the pool, rather than one that attracts those who service the pool.
If what they say is true about the pool company not coming to that location I say that is a victory for the residents of Overland, specifically of that area.
If that in turn means a loss for Empty Schneider, then that says a lot about his true concerns about the residents of this city (outside MVE).
What bothers me with this issue is the idea that a company could circumvent the normal conditional use permit process simply because their business is "similar" to the business previously in that location.
Whether you feel this business should be considered a construction contractor or not, I seriously doubt the previous construction company had storage of 1000s of gallons of chemicals in their conditional use permit.
We have a conditional use approval process for a reason. The Planning and Zone Commission would likely seek guidance from Community Fire as well as an environment impact study. At their meeting, concerned citizens would be given the opportunity to state their support or objections, and the company could specifically make their case as to why they should be approved.
Of course, since Overland Ordinances specifically prohibit construction contractors (as well as off-site repair services) from occupying a C1 zone (no conditional use permit option) it is doubtful this application would have gone very far if it handled properly in the first place.
Not once during the meeting did Jeff O'Connell mention anything about the pool company being union or question their labor practices.
He did question the appropriateness of such a company in a residential area, especially so close to a preschool.
Why Felon Fetsch finds it necessary to use these lies is unbelievable. But then again, he is a felon.
SPYDOG needs to get his rabies and distemper shots! MT Mayor sure played spymut for a fool and spymut is still trying to lap up left over slop MT Mayor tosses down at him. SPYDOG quit humping on MT Mayor's leg.
Isn't it remarkable that the Mayor chooses his line of communication about proceedings to trickle down to Spydog? Come on I honestly thought MT was somewhat smarter than he looks. What is the Mayor thinking? Spydog, similiar to the previous Mayor has zero credibility now MT is on his way to proving he isn't different enough to make a difference he is just more of the same. Now how about the IT position anyone care to defend MT on that watering down for a chosen employee. Perhaps Spydog can tell us the Mayor's reasoning.
Pool company - financing should be looked at for the real reason they pulled out
MTSuit is watering down the qualifications so he can attach Spydog's lips firmly on the government's teet.
Anyone know why Carol is calling herself the Boss these days? The ought to change name of site to Carol and the Dog.
What would possess Mike Schneider to share with Spydog this type of information. Does the Mayor desperately need Spydog to be his advocate or his sounding off board?
I phoned a councilman and they have had nothing sent to them regarding the pool situation.
Isn't it alarming that Mike seeks advice and consent from a felon? Piss Pot Pete to be exact.
How is it the council hasn't heard this information but yet Spydog, who is now evidently the official felon of the Mayor's inner circle knows what is going on and reporting on it?
That leads me to believe that Mike Schneider is truly swimming in his own pool of shit.
