While we are talking about public works, I really think that we need to talk about the fact that Councilwoman Eedie Cuminale DOESN't have an occupancy permit and therefore is voilating the oath of office every single day.

Letters were hand delivered to Mayor Mike Schneider, City Administrator Jason McConachie and the Department of Public Works requesting an investigation into Councilwoman Cuminale's lack of occupancy permit

July 14, 2008
A resident sent an e-mail to the Mayor and all members of the council requesting an investigation into Councilwoman Cuminale's constant violation of the Oath of Office by not upholding the city ordinances. Councilwoman Cuminale is violating city a city ordinance herself by not having an occupancy permit which is required by city ordinance 515.070.
The e-mail was read during resident comment at the city council meeting on Monday July 14

July 15, 2008
So far Mayor Mike Schneider, City Administrator Jason McConachie and Councilpersons May, Cuminale, Conlon and O'Connell have done nothing but try to sweep this under the rug

I think what you have shown here is not that Cuminale has a disregard for the process but that, in the past (read "under Boone-doggle"), the Public Works department made it impossible for good people and good businesses to move into this city.

This is one of the main reasons for Overland's decline in the past 10 years or so.

Don't confuse Boone-doggle shenanigans with a disregard for the law--as it is obvious attempts are being made on part of the homeowners.
