Recently, the never before heard of Overland Symphony performed at Wild Acres. From what I saw last night, the Overland Drama Society should also be formed. With Chuck Boone-doggle as the lead.
Talk about the drama. In something that would only happen in a Jerry Springer show (or an OVCC meeting), Boone went out with flair. When it came time for his Public Works report, he grabbed the microphone, went out amongst the people for dramatic effect, and QUIT!
Good News for Overland!
Good News for the Drama Society!

Damn! I miss everything. I looked at the agenda and thought doing some other stuff would be more interesting. WRONG!
Well, I will just have to see the video on this on Thursday night.
What an ass. It is sad to witness a person losing their sense of dignity in the face of life's inevitable disappointments.
Did he happen to give a reason for his timely demise or was he simply pissed for not being able to double-dip his retirement pension plan?
Was there a purpose for "taking it to the crowd"? Although I didn't witness the outburst, I can only assume he was seeking cover behind the "women and children".
Personally, I would have fired him the moment he made the Public Works report about his delusional sense of injustice rather than Public Works.
Maybe he has done the best thing for the department as now we can entertain hiring an actual engineer.
